PADUCAH, Ky. (10/26/15) — Paducah Economic Development is partnering with Avalanche Consulting to create a five-year strategic plan for Paducah’s forward progress.
“We believe it’s time to concentrate our collective energies around making Paducah the best it can possibly be. We want to build on our assets and, together, create one of America’s best performing economies,” says Scott Darnell, President of Paducah Economic Development. “It’s time to roll up our sleeves and experience what we can accomplish when we work as one with a shared vision for the future.”
Forward Paducah is the beginning of the community’s next five years. It is a strategic planning process that will involve the entire community in establishing a vision for Paducah/McCracken County’s future, setting goals around our aspirations and creating a tactical path forward. “We have engaged the nation’s leading economic development strategists to facilitate the process,” adds Darnell.
The strategists at Avalanche Consulting have worked with more than 200 communities around the United States and have begun the process to guide this community through a planning process that will take approximately six months.
“We would like to ask every citizen of this community to work with us in this all-important task. Let your voice be heard and think boldly about our future,” says Darnell. Take a few minutes and provide the vital input needed to create a plan that includes every citizen and every great idea.
